Hen Chocoholics Dream in Brighton

This fun, creative and indulgent workshop is taught by experienced Green and Blacks Chocolatiers.
Let us take you on a Chocolate Adventure.
Learn about where the cocoa bean grows, how chocolate’s made and why some tastes so great (and why other products just aren’t worth the calories).
Play with molten chocolate, make a limited edition Green and Blacks chocolate bar or giant buttons, make fresh truffles from raw ingredients and then cut, dip and decorate your fillings.
You can create your very own personalised, never-to-be-repeated limited edition Green and Black’s chocolate bar or two giant chocolate buttons! Marshmallow, popping candy and biscuit flavoured anyone?
Learn how to make chocolate truffles using raw ingredients and work in pairs to pipe truffles into whatever shape takes your fancy (don’t worry, we’ve seen it all before…)!
Then we’ll give a slab of praline, giant marshmallows and chunky biscuits to everyone and demo the art of cutting, dipping and decorating your chocolates.
Of course, we expect your one best chocolate to be saved for the Hen – she gets to take the most impressive fruits of your labours home in a ribbon-tied souvenir - a reminder of what a great group of mates she’s got.

• Our Chocolatiers will entertain you with the magical legends of chocolate. Sample 100% pure chocolate, crushed cocoa beans and exotic flavoured treats
• Discover why some chocolate tastes delicious and why others aren’t worth the calories.
• Create your very own personalised Green & Black’s chocolate bar or giant chocolate button. Marshmallow, coconut and biscuit flavoured anyone?
• Team up with the person next to you and make truffles from raw ingredients. Pipe truffles into whatever shape you like (don’t worry, we’ve seen it all before…!)
• Make handmade treats from dark chocolate ganache, milk chocolate praline, giant marshmallows, Green & Black’s chocolates and oodles of decorations.
• Award the bride to be the most impressive chocolate you made as a souvenir of her day and a reminder of what a great group of mates she’s got!
• Everyone creates approximately 15 handmade chocolates plus a Green & Black’s bar or giant Green & Black’s button to take home in ribbon tied bags
• Duration: 2-2.5 hours
Smaller groups may need to join another group.

Timings:

Length of activity: 2 - 2.5 hours.
Workshop takes place on Saturdays only at 11:00 and 15:00
Large groups of over 25 can have an exclusive event at a time to suit.

Notes:

Our Chocoholic Dream sessions are popular, each group has their own area and more than one group maybe sharing a room with an experienced Chocolatier. Additional assistants are on hand depending on the total class size.
Please note that alcohol can be bought at the venue, however you are not permitted to bring your own.
