Help and Advice - Wedding Reception Drink
Tradition dictates that your wedding guests be welcomed to the wedding reception venue with a drink to quench their thirst and get the party started.
Of course a glass of the bubbly stuff goes down well, however many of our stags and hens are reserving that for the toasts and being more adventurous with this side of the wedding hospitality.
A new favourite emerging is the use of a drinks fountain, with delicate glasses built into the pyramid shape and taking the place of waiters walking around the room balancing trays of drinks precariously.
Some opt to follow their theme, so for a summer wedding serve Pimms, whereas winter wedding guests may appreciate hot mulled wine.
The bride and groom may have a particular favourite cocktail, a drink that’s personal to them and so this would be appropriate and stamp their personality onto the celebrations.
